In the finance & administration module > general ledger > journals you are able to create and maintain open journals and review booked manual or automatic journals. It contains a history of all journals made within your system.
JOURNALS NAVIGATION
NUMBER | FUNCTIONALITY |
1 | The list tab shows all journals that meet the criteria of your search. |
2 | The journal entry, journal bookings and elimination tabs show you further details of the journal you have selected from the list tab. |
3 | The create icon allows you to create a new general (non-project related) journal. |
4 | The cancel icon allows you to cancel a journal that is in status 10 (under preparation). |
5 | The reverse/copy icon allows you to reverse a journal or duplicate a journal. It only applies to general journals (not automatic journals, based upon project postings). |
6 | The filter sidebar allows you to filter the list of journals by user, financial period, status, etc. |
