GL > Financial Budget Summary

The budget list tab shows all budgets within your company.

The account budget tab allows you to view, create and amend account level budgets for all accounts other than those associated with dimensions for this budget.

The dimension budget allows you to view, create and amend dimension level budgets for the specified account(s) and dimension for this budget. Clients or departments are an example of dimensions used for this purpose.

The finance budget setup allows you to associate dimensions and relevant accounts with the selected budget.

You can use the create, delete and duplicate icons from this menu to manage new and existing budgets. The duplicate budget feature is particularly useful for re-forecasts on the current year. Multiple budgets can exist for the same year.
