Dimensions can be used throughout WorkBook to group, filter, and tag data for reporting purposes.
The client groups dimension enables you to group selected clients under one client group so you can report on clients as individuals or as a group.
To setup client groups, you need to have access to settings that is set up under employee cross-company access, and be an advanced user with the appropriate access rights.
Please contact your WorkBook administrator if you can’t see this menu. System Administrators have access to this menu by default.

CREATE CLIENT GROUPS
Client groups are created in the settings module
If your WorkBook account is associated with multiple companies, utilise the dropdown menu to select the specific company for which you intend to create the job type
In the dimensions sub-menu > select client groups
Go to the groups setup tab > click create client group button
In the newly created field, type the new client group name
The client group is now created
ADD CLIENTS TO A CLIENT GROUPS
Go to the settings module > select the correct company from the drop down menu
In the dimensions sub-menu > select client groups
Go to the clients tab > select the client in the client column
Then in the group column, select the client group from the drop down
DELETE CLIENT GROUPS
Note: you will not be able to delete a client group if a client is applied to it.
Go to the settings module > select the correct company from the drop down menu
In the dimensions sub-menu > select client groups
Go to the groups setup tab > highlight the client group that you want to delete
Click delete client group button
There is no confirmation dialog box, WorkBook deletes the client group immediately.
UPDATE CLIENT GROUP DIMENSIONS FOR ALL JOBS
Go to the settings module > select the correct company from the drop down menu
In the dimensions sub-menu > select client groups
Go to the groups setup tab > select the client group whose dimension you want to update for all jobs
Click apply as dimensions value on jobs button
> click ok
In the information dialogue box, click continue anyway to proceed
This action cannot be reversed.
