Scheduling > schedule overview > task matrix provides resource managers, studio managers, team leads, department heads and the like, a comprehensive view of resources and the jobs and tasks they’re working on. Booked hours can be edited and moved in this view according to the start and end dates of the task.

ON THIS PAGE YOU WILL FIND:


ACCESS THE TASK MATRIX

  • Go to the scheduling module > task matrix

  • Use the filtering options to include/exclude data accordingly and set the date range


MODIFY GRID

  • To tailor the task matrix view to your personal preference, open the sandwich menu

  • Select modify grid

  • Select/deselect columns to include in your task matrix view

  • Add groupings


REVIEW & CHANGE BOOKINGS

  • If you have grouped data, expand to see all data rows including jobs, tasks, number of hours and days per task assigned to each resource

  • Colour coding within cells alerts you to capacity issues so you can move hours accordingly

    • Green = Booked on a job “in progress”

    • Red = Overbooked

    • Yellow = Booked on a job in “quotation”

  • Hover over cells to reveal additional details, i.e. capacity, booked hours, leave etc

  • The book ends will show you the date range of where a task starts and ends

  • Allowing you to move time between the dates if needed

  • Double click the task name to open the task card for further amendments e.g. changing task dates, moving tasks between resources etc.
