Employee Settings > Login Settings
Employees are created in the resource module and are usually controlled by a system administrator, designated role(s), or person(s) within your agency.
The login settings tab allows you to reset an employee's password, and give access to specific companies and areas in WorkBook.

RESET PASSWORD
To reset an employee’s password go to:
The resources module > employee settings grid
Select the employee > open the employee card
Go to the settings > login settings
Click Reset password and email it to the user
The employee will be emailed a temporary password and asked to set up a new one
Employees can also reset their own password by using the forgot password button located on the login screen.
COMPANY ACCESS
Company Access selections determine which companies and areas of WorkBook within those companies, an employee has access to.
Go to the resources module > employee settings grid
Select the employee > open the employee card
Go to the settings > login settings > company access
The grid will display all the companies existing in WorkBook.
Use Check the relevant boxes to give the employee access to those areas
The ‘License type' and 'Access right for roles’ setups work in combination to this company access setup.
Name | Explanation | Remark |

Employee | Display the employee name |

User account type | The license has been assigned to this user. |

Employed in company | Display the inital of the company that this employee is created under. |

Access to Company | Display all the companies existing in WorkBook |

All | Select this checkbox to grant the full access to the relevant company. When selecting this checkbox, all other checkboxes will be selected as well. |

Allow time entry | Allow the employee to enter time on this selected company. |
|
Allow material entry | Allow the employee to enter material entry on this selected company. |
|
Allow personal expense entry | Allow the employee to enter expense entry on this selected company. |
|
Allow subsitence allowance entry | Allow the employee to register subsitence allowance on this selected company. |
|
Allow creditor invoice resigtration | Allow the employee to enter creditor invoice on this selected company. |
|
Access to job | Allow the employee to access to jobs on this selected company. |
|
Can create jobs | Allow the employee to create new jobs on this selected company. |
|
Set job status 0 | Allow the employee to change job status to ‘Quotation’ on this selected company. |
|
Set job status 1 | Allow the employee to change job status to 'In Progress' on this selected company. |
|
Set job status 2 | Allow the employee to change job status to ‘On Hold’ on this selected company. |
|
Set job status 3 | Allow the employee to change job status to ‘Ready for closing’ on this selected company. |
|
Set job status 4 | Allow the employee to change job status to ‘Closed’ on this selected company. |
|
Set job status 5 | Allow the employee to change job status to ‘Cancelled' on this selected company. |
|
Access to employee | Allow the employee to see other employees created on this selected company. | If you have multiple company setup, it is recommded to select this checkbox so that the employee can chat, tag, or assign tasks to other employees on different companies. |
Can setup employees | Allow to access the employee profile setup for those employees created on this selected company. |

Allow finnace administration | Allow to access to the Finance module on this selected company. | Recommend to select this checkbox for all finance employees and then apply another control using ‘Access right for roles' to limit what they can do and/or see. |
Allow access to pipeline | Allow to access to the CRM module on this selected company. |
|
Allow access to settings | Allow the employee to access to the Settings module on this selected company. | This checkbox will only be enabled for Advanced user. Basic use has no access by default. System administration has full access by default. |
