Timesheets > Time Entry via the Tasks Module
Time entry can be completed via the tasks module and this method works best for users who are assigned tasks e.g. creatives, developers etc. The benefits of entering time via the tasks module is that users can view:
All their assigned tasks in one view
Hours booked against each task
Time spent to date on each task
The deadline of each task

ENTER TIME AGAINST AN ASSIGNED TASK
Go to the tasks module > to-do > tasks
GRID VIEW
In the grid view tab > select the task you wish to add time to
Click the time entry icon
Complete the following:
Adjust the date of time entry
Manually add time or use the timer
Add a comment, if required
Click save
If you prefer to do complete your timesheets daily, simply enter time in the hours spent today column
WEEK VIEW
The week view shows you the hours allocated to you over the week, so if you’re someone that does their timesheets at the end of the week, this view will allow you to see what you were assigned over the week.
In the week view tab > select the task you wish to add time to
Click the time entry icon
Complete the following:
Adjust the date of time entry
Manually add time
Add a comment, if required
Click save
MARK TASKS AS COMPLETE
If you are responsible for completing your own tasks, you can do this by:
Go to the tasks module > to-do > tasks
Select the task you wish to mark as done
Check the done box
This will remove the task from your task list
ENTER TIME WHEN YOU ARE NOT ASSIGNED TO A TASK
To enter time when you are not assigned to a task, follow the instructions for Timesheets > Time Entry via Time & Expense
SUBMIT TIMESHEETS
Submit timesheets via the Time & Expense Module
