The 264 report is a customisable financial bookings report. You can choose which accounts you’d like to group together, such as, realised revenue, WIP and realised cost of sales. When you run the report you can set the dimension that you’d like to view it by, whether it’s client, group, job etc.

ON THIS PAGE YOU WILL FIND:

ABOUT REPORT 264

This report offers the ability to split self-defined groups of finance accounts across any dimension you require, enabling you to breakdown gross profit by activity, jobs, departments, etc.

With the flexibility to group data on up to 3 dimensions simultaneously, Report 264 allows you to tailor your analyses precisely to your company's needs. You can add up to 12 columns of account group data.

Please note that this report is specific to your company and operates solely in the company's basic currency, ensuring accurate and reliable financial insights.

  • Settings > Folders, Reports & Documents > Financial Postings report (264) > add new report setup

  • Select the new report line that was created, click on the setup tab and in the bottom section of the screen, select add new data line

  • Give the column label a name, such as ‘realised revenue’

  • Select the ‘from account’ and ‘to account’ that you would like to group:

  • Argument is whether you’d like to have the figure as a positive or a negative. (NB: make sure these are the same throughout the whole report setup)

  • Choose the time scope in the Date scale column. You have some options here:

  • The report options include date from and to, but this will only be reflected if you select ‘specific period’ here. Accounting period will show the current month.

  • Repeat these steps for however many columns you’d like. You don’t need to fill them all and you can skip a column if you’d like to leave a space between.
