Create a Supplier/Vendor > Supplier Settings

Once you have created a supplier/vendor, you can add address details, supplier contacts, creditor mapping etc. via the supplier card in order to complete the supplier/vendor setup.

The areas to complete will be dependent upon your agency process.


ACCESS THE SUPPLIER/VENDOR CARD

To access the supplier/vendor card go to:

  • Go to the resources module > resource default grid

  • Select the supplier/vendor > open the supplier card

 


ADD SUPPLIER/VENDOR ADDRESS DETAILS

Additional supplier/vendor information can be added via the supplier card.

  • Go to the resources module > resource default grid

  • Select the supplier/vendor > open the supplier card

  • Go to the information tab

 

 

  • From here you can update the following supplier/vendor information:

    • Name

    • Initials

    • Phone number

    • Mobile number

    • Email

    • Social information e.g. web address, LinkedIn page etc.

    • Skills

    • Resource group (resource groups are used for grouping resources together e.g. for a mail out)

    • Tags

    • Address details

    • Business (suppliers/vendors can be grouped by the type of business they are for reporting purposes e.g. print, post production etc.)

    • Public Number (supplier/vendor’s business number)

    • Responsible (the main contact person in your company for the supplier)


ADD SUPPLIER/VENDOR CONTACTS

Supplier/vendor contacts are the people associated with suppliers/vendors that you may wish to add to a purchase order.

  • Go to the resources module > resource default grid

  • Select the supplier/vendor > open the supplier card

  • Go to the contacts tab

 

 

From the contacts tab you can:

  • add a new contact

  • set a contact as active/in-active

  • anonymise a contact

  • merge contacts

  • move contacts from one supplier/vendor to another

  • open the contact card

To add a contact:

  • Click the add new contact button

  • Add the contact name and email address

  • Click ok

 

 

Once you click ok, a pop up will appear where you can complete additional fields related to the supplier/vendor contact.

 


SUPPLIER/VENDOR GENERAL SETTINGS

In general settings you can select supplier/vendor purchase order defaults such as to show sales tax/VAT/GST on your purchase order or to default the supplier/vendor’s activity.

  • Go to the resources module > resource default grid

  • Select the supplier/vendor > open the supplier card

  • Go to the supplier settings tab > general settings


SUPPLIER/VENDOR CREDITOR MAPPING

In creditor mapping you can link an existing creditor, remove the link to the creditor or create a new creditor against this supplier/vendor.

  • Go to the resources module > resource default grid

  • Select the supplier/vendor > open the supplier card

  • Go to the supplier settings tab > creditor mapping
