Discover some of the functions that you will regularly interact with in WorkBook in this overview of the Tasks module.

FUNCTIONALITY

The view option tabs allow you to toggle between preferred views of your assigned tasks.

Use the search field to search by task name, job name, job number & client

The grid view shows key details about the job/s and task/s assigned to you. Click on the jobs icon to access the job brief.

Use the modify grid option to tailor your fields. In this view we have enabled:

  • Client

  • Job no.

  • Job name

  • Task name

  • Hours booked (total hours assigned to you on this task)

  • Hours spent (total time you have logged to this task already)

  • Hours booked today (hours assigned to you on this task today)

  • Deadline (when the task is due)

  • Done (allows you to mark tasks complete within the grid view)

The filter allows you to review overdue, current or all assigned tasks.

The task card allows you to review more information about the task.

The briefing icon shows the task brief

The chat icon allows you to collaborate and share files with other people assigned on this task.

The enter time icon allows you to quickly make a time entry against the selected task. Enter time manually or use the stop/start timer to track time.

The complete icon marks you as ‘done’ on this task.

You can also complete tasks in this column.
