The job status sub-menu in job settings (formerly the job properties sidebar), is mainly used to update the job name or, to add additional key dates and notes related to your job. These fields can be viewed in Job List 2 - Status Report and are handy for weekly WIP or job status reporting.

  • From the jobs list > select the job > and click on the job settings button image-20241223-021436.png

TIP: You can also access the job settings (formerly the job properties sidebar) from any of the job sub-menus like Briefing, Tasks, Price, Purchase Order, Invoice, Costs etc. Just look for the job settings button image-20241223-021443.png in the top tight hand corner of the screen.

UPDATING JOB STATUS

The following fields can be updated in the job status sub-menu:

ITEM

DESCRIPTION

Job Name

This is where you can update the name of the Job.

Tags

If your company uses tags this is where you add tags to the job. If you have permission to create tags, you can also create a tag here.

Status

This is a free text field intended as a job status update, but can be used for keeping general notes on the job.

Next Step

Another free text field intended for outlining what the next step on the job is, however it can also be used for other purposes depending on your agency requirements and processes.

Next Step Date

A date field allowing you to keep track of the next step due date.

Internal Notes

Another free text field that allows you to keep notes about the job.

Last Review Date

Another date field that can be used to keep track of the last date the job was reviewed doe other purposes depending on your agency processes.
