Create a dashboard
Go to the Dashboards module, click the in the top right corner, then select Create a new dashboard.
In the pop-up follow the prompts to give your dashboard:
1) a Name & Layout settings and
2) to add or remove access for users or user groups* (if you have the relevant permissions)
Select the widget(s) you want to add from the widgets menu by dragging them into the dashboard. Note that WorkBook Intelligence widgets will only be available to WI subscribers.
Adding a Databoard to your dashboard
Once you have selected the databoard widget, click in the dropdown and select the databoard from the list (note, a system administrator must have granted you access to the databoard)
Adding an iFrame to your dashboard
Once you have selected the iFrame widget, enter the URL to your iFrame. Permissions to access the content of the iFrame are controlled at the source system. For example, if I am embedding a PowerBI visual, the PowerBI access settings will control access.
Adding iFrames is a powerful way to house WorkBook-related content all within the same system. Use case examples include incorporating BI from standard BI tools (such as PowerBI), embedding forms (E.g. Microsoft forms) used for WorkBook-related data, such as new client & vendor requests, or internal ticketing requests.
