The scheduling module is where capacity is reviewed and tasks are managed. The scheduling module is broken into two key areas:

  1. Schedule overview

Access to scheduling views will depend on your WorkBook license type and the access you have.

ON THIS PAGE YOU WILL FIND:

SCHEDULE OVERVIEW

The schedule overview lists the various scheduling views available in WorkBook. Here you can see overall data sets according to the filtering options selected.

  • Calendar

  • Capacity Status Graph

  • Scrum Board

  • Task Matrix

  • Employee Task Summary

  • Timesheet Status

  • Timeline Calendar

  • Weekly Schedule

  • Year Calendar

Kye Hush can you please replace this screenshot here with one similar to the Tasks Module Overview page? I don’t think we need the navigation table on these pages when they are very light?

TASK FOLLOW-UP

The task follow up provides various task follow up views including:

  • Task List

  • Ticket List

  • Task Resource Booking Approval

  • Tasks Awaiting Closure

  • Tasks with Missing Activity

  • Tasks with Not Fully Booked Capacity

Kye Hush can you please add a screengrab here similar to the Tasks Module Overview page?

ACCURATE CAPACITY PLANNING TIPS

Accurate capacity planning (across live jobs and new opportunities) is reliant upon:

  • All jobs (any status) having a schedule with resources (group scheduling resources or actual people) and hours assigned to tasks, and accurate start and end dates

  • Schedules being maintained throughout a live project, including:

    • Start and end dates

    • Group scheduling resources or actual people assigned to tasks accordingly

    • Hours managed

    • Tasks marked as complete when done

  • No labels
