Resources > Employee without Access to WorkBook R12
An employee without access is a resource that cannot log into WorkBook, but can be used for the purpose of resource assignment and time-tracking or for freelancers that do not need to access WorkBook.
Employee resources are created in the resources module and are usually controlled by a system administrator, designated role(s) or person(s) within your agency.
CREATE AN EMPLOYEE WITHOUT ACCESS
To add a new employee without access go to:
Resources module > employee settings grid > click add new resource button
Complete the necessary new employee fields
Creating an employee without access is the same as creating an employee in WorkBook, there are some mandatory fields that need to be completed, see table below.
FIELD | DESCRIPTION |
Company* | Select the company the group scheduling resource belongs to |
Name* | Name of the employee without access |
Initials* | This will auto-populate, but can be amended |
Email* | Leave this as the default: .dk |
Profit Centre* | Select a profit centre from the drop down |
Title* | Select the position |
User Type* | Select Employee without access to WorkBook |
Report Profile* | Select a report profile from the drop down |
Timesheet Approver* | Select a timesheet approver from the drop down |
There is no need to complete any other fields
Click ok
