WorkBook integrates with Microsoft OneDrive for Business. This enables your organizations to use the Microsoft Office365 offerings together with WorkBook for document storage. This specific guide will guide you to set up the OneDirvetakes you through setup and configuration, plus testing and troubleshooting the connection.

INSTALLATION & CONFIGURATION

Once you’re ready to Before you start the configuration, please note you need to make sure that you have access to an administrative user within WorkBook as well as on Office 365will need system administrator rights in both WorkBook and Office 365 to complete the installation. The specific user must have full access to the SharePoint site that will host the files WorkBook automatically creates and manages.

Within WorkBook navigate go to:

  • Settings > folders, reports & documents > storage, and folders setup

  • Select the 3rd item “storage provider

  • Create a new storage provider

At the bottom of the view fill out the following details:

  • ServiceEndpointUri ( This will be : the full address to your SharePoint site suffixed with /_api/ )

  • ServiceResourceId ( This will be : the domain of your SharePoint installation prefixed with https:// )

ServiceResourceId: https://bytangram.sharepoint.com

  • Once the Endpoint and ResourceId is filled out within WorkBook you can go ahead and press the authenticateicon

TROUBLESHOOTING

IT DOESN’T AUTHENTICATE

If you can’t authenticate correctly you have to make sure that you informed the ByTangram team that you’re using Office 365 and want to integrate storage into it, If you do not you’re not going to be able to connect itHave you informed your implementation consultant that you are using Office 365 as your storage provider in WorkBook? If not, please inform them so that connection can be setup correctly.

MY TEST CONNECTION FAILS

Some of this The test might fail may fail due to certain characters not allowed in SharePoint.

NOTHING SHOWS UP IN THE BOTTOM GRID

When you create a new storage provider the bottom grid might not update instantly. If you don’t see anything, please either refresh the page or navigate to a different storage provider and back again. This will refresh the grid and show the settings for it.
