The scheduling module is where capacity is reviewed and tasks are managed. The scheduling module is broken into two key areas:

  1. Schedule overview

  2. Task follow-up

Access to scheduling views will depend on your WorkBook license type and the your access you havelevel.

The schedule overview lists the various scheduling views available in WorkBook. Here , here you can see review overall data sets according to the filtering options selected in each view.

Kye Hush can you please replace this screenshot here with one similar to the Tasks Module Overview page? I don’t think we need the navigation table on these pages when they are very light?

TASK FOLLOW-UP

The Similarly, task follow-up provides various task follow up views a list of views for reviewing WorkBook tasks, including:

  • Task List

  • Ticket List

  • Task Resource Booking Approval

  • Tasks Awaiting Closure

  • Tasks with Missing Activity

  • Tasks with Not Fully Booked Capacity

ACCURATE CAPACITY PLANNING TIPS

Accurate capacity planning (across live jobs and new opportunities) is reliant upon:

  • All jobs (any status) having a schedule with resources (group scheduling resources or actual people) and hours assigned to tasks, and accurate start and end dates

  • Schedules being maintained throughout a live project, including:

    • Start and end dates

    • Group scheduling resources or actual people assigned to tasks accordingly

    • Hours managed

    • Tasks marked as complete when done
