If the new business opportunity you have created as a pipeline is not going to progress, you will mark the pipeline as lost and include information with the reason for reporting purposes.

MARK PIPELINE AS LOST

  • Go to Pipelines > select pipeline from the list

  • Click Show/hide pipeline card (blue star) icon > go to Lost pipeline information (blue star) tab

  • Enter the following information:

    • *Reason: Select from the available options, i.e. Bad chemistry, Declined pitch, Lost to competitor, Price, other etc

    • Competitor: Select from dropdown list or add new by clicking on the (blue star) icon

    • Description: Enter lost description

    • Lost: The pipeline will be marked ‘NOT ACTIVE’ once this is checked

*Pipeline lost reasons are unique to your system and are usually setup by your Consultant or Systems Administrator during implementation via CRM > Settings > CRM setup.
